Club Values

California Scholarship Federation Club. Get involved, give back, and earn scholarships!

The central values of Castro Valley High School's CSF revolve around the motto of "Scholarship for Service". Through being a member of CSF, you demonstrate several values of the club, by showing club dedication, giving back to serve your communities, maintaining your academic status, growing leadership skills, and building overall character. With CVHS not officially being a part of the NHS (National Honor Society), our club and its members should exemplify the values of "Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character".

What We Offer

Castro Valley High School's CSF acts as our school's (unofficial) Honor Society. Our club offers:

  • A means to earn / record community service hoursThis can be done through either CSF-led events, or earned through outside volunteering opportunities (Church, mentoring, etc.)

  • SCHOLARSHIPS!!! Our club is the only one at CVHS that offers scholarships during senior award night. We also offer various methods to earn scholarships for seniors.

  • Annual CSF volunteering awards (Platinum/Gold/Silver/Bronze). These awards are given out based on the amount of hours accumulated throughout the school year. Platinum is 50+ Gold is 30+ hours, Silver is 20+ hours, and Bronze is 10+ hours.

  • Another extracurricular to add to your college apps! On top of offering scholorships, being a part of CSF allows you to put community service hours on your college resume, writing about volunteering experiences, and even being a CSF life member when you graduate!

Hi everyone! My name is Olivia and I’m honored to serve as your CSF President for the 2025-2026 school year. My job is to help run and manage the club as I find volunteer events and oversee the other officer positions. I’m currently a junior and this is my second year being apart of this club’s officer board. A fun fact about me is that I love working with animals and aspire to be a veterinarian when I’m older. I’m very passionate about helping this club grow and my goal for this year is to make it memorable for everyone! If you have any questions feel free to reach out

Hello, my name is Jordan, I'm a senior at CVHS, and have been CSF's vice president for 2 years now! I helped build the CSF website, organize various events for CSF members, and help run the weekly meetings. I love long walks on the beach, drinking matcha, and listening to Clairo. #livelaughlove

Hi, I’m Toms Chan, the secretary of CSF for the 2025-26 school year! I’ll be the one logging your volunteer hours into the Membership Sheet, so let me know if you need any help, or just need someone to chat with. By the way, my hobby is trying everything on iTea’s menu, and my current go-to order is the White Peach Oolong Latte (no ice, regular boba, 30% sugar) and Seasoned Curly Fries!

Hey, I’m Kristie, a senior who has been with CSF since middle school (CJSF). A little about me- I play tennis, love to travel, and love learning new hobbies (learning instruments, baking, crocheting, etc.). I hope to major in finance and minor in cs (or double major). I first joined CSF because I heard it looked good on college apps, but I stayed for all the fun experiences, and this club has far exceeded my expectations- not just because of the amazing volunteer events, but because of all the really nice and welcoming people I’ve met. I hope to be able to share this experience with anyone who wants to join CSF and look forward to seeing everyone at our meetings and events!

Hii! I’m Leila and I’m so excited to be your internal affairs officer this year! My job is to update the club website with new info and our weekly slides, and maintain our linktree. I’m currently a sophomore at cvhs and I’ve been involved in csf since 8th grade (cjsf), but this is my first year I’m returning as an officer. A fun fact about me is that I love to crochet! Let me know if you have any questions, and I can’t wait to see you all at our meetings!
